Jakarta - The Pastor of the GBI Assembly Mawar Saron Jakarta carried out a pastoral visit to a number of congregations on Thursday, January 29, 2026, as part of the pastoral ministry that is oriented towards spiritual assistance, prayer, and strengthening the faith of the congregation in the midst of various struggles in life.
This pastoral visit reaches several regions, including Cakung (East Jakarta) and Jatimurni (Bekasi). Through direct visits to the neighbourhood where the congregation lives, the church is physically present to listen, pray, and provide spiritual reinforcement according to the needs of the congregation.
In every visit, the Pastor of the Session is accompanied by the local Cell Group (Komsel) manager. This accompaniment is carried out so that the pastoral ministry runs in a coordinated manner and strengthens the role of Komsel as the spearhead of the shepherding congregation in their respective regions.
The services provided include joint prayers, pastoral conversations, and the delivery of strengthening words, both for the congregation who are facing struggles with work, business, and health conditions. The presence of the pastor and the team is expected to be a means of comfort and confirmation of faith, that the congregation does not walk alone in facing every season of life.
In the future, pastoral visits like this will continue to be carried out regularly every Thursday, in order to strengthen the pastoral relationship between pastors, Cell Group managers, and congregations, as well as presenting the church as a community that cares, sustains, and walks with God's people.
