Bible Reading : 2 Corinthians 7:1

Verse of Reflection : 2 Corinthians 7:1b

Let us cleanse ourselves from all physical and spiritual pollution, and thus complete our holiness in the fear of God.

According to KBBI, the word pollution is a process, method, act of polluting or defaminating, and polluting. The context of pollution in spiritual life is not always in the form of a major sin that is visible to the eye, but often presents through the attitude of the heart, mindset, and habits that are left to drag on. Without realising it, these things are slowly disrupting the relationship with God and hindering the growth of faith. Therefore, God's word firmly invites every believer to clean up all aspects of his life, both spiritually, spiritually, and physically.

Freeing life does not mean making yourself perfect, but having the courage to be honest before God, the courage to admit that there are parts of life that have not been completed, there are attitudes that need to be improved, and there are habits that must be abandoned. This process of purification requires humility and obedience, because God does not work on a life that is maintained by ego, but on a life that is completely surrendered. When someone is willing to clean up his life, he is opening up space for God to work deeper and more real.

The Word of God emphasises that self-purification is closely related to the fear of God. Fear of Allah is not an oppressive fear, but a respectful attitude that encourages a person to live in harmony

According to His will. So, holiness is perfected, not by human effort alone, but by continuous obedience. A life that wants to be settled is a life that wants to be led, reprimanded, and shaped by God.

Make your life more like Christ. When life is surrendered and settled, God himself will perfect His plan for every believer.

God faithfully fulfils a life that is willing to be done before Him.
