\"Serve one another, according to the favour that each person has obtained as a good manager of God's grace.\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Service is one of the spiritual keys that God has set to bring His people to live in full abundance. Entering the period of abundance, blessings not only talk about physical sufficiency, but also the balance of soul and spirit. Without that balance, abundance has the potential to damage character and eliminate self-control. God's Word emphasises that true service helps believers manage their lives in a healthy way so that blessings do not distance people from God, but bring them closer to His will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ministry does not start from the desire to get rewards, but in response to Christ's work of salvation. Believers serve because they have first been served by the Lord Jesus through the cross. This awareness forms a low, correct, and responsible attitude. The ministry that is born from the recognition of Christ leads every believer to speak honestly before God, as written in Luke 17:10, that the duty of service is an obligation that is done faithfully, not a means to exalt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The letter of 1 Peter is written in the context of a world that outwardly looks strong and prosperous, but is spiritually and spiritually corrupted. Rome at that time showed physical splendour, but lost moral direction and truth. In the midst of these conditions, Peter strengthened the congregation to keep living differently from the world, maintaining faith, and maintaining holiness. Ministry becomes God's means to maintain the self-control of His people so that they are not dragged by the current of the world that loses value and truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God's Word in 1 Peter 4:7\u201311 guides ministry in three dimensions of time. The ministry helps believers look to the future with hope, because life is directed towards eternity. Service also restores the past, because love covers many sins and brings forgiveness. At the same time, ministry gives strength to live in the present, even in the midst of problems and pressures of life. Believers serve God not because they live without problems, but because in service, the heart is directed back to God, not to problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

True service teaches self-control, willingness to love, willingness to give, and loyalty to use gifts for the common good. When every believer understands and lives the key to service, life is not only blessed outwardly, but also shaped into a blessing for others. Thus, service becomes God's way to guide His people to meet true and responsible happiness before Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2728Service is not about how much blessing we receive, but how well we control ourselves so that we remain useful for God and others.<\/em><\/strong>\u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n
